Reinstalled windows 3 times, installed and tried all of the drivers for my device (dell 7579). I also tried rolling back to a stored set point in Windows, but this does nothing. When I tell the device manager to scan for new hardware, it finds nothing.
Now the device manager no longer shows the HID-compliant touch screen driver at all, as if the hardware was not there.
